Bus and Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

About the job

You work in a workshop as a mechanic for public transport buses and commercial vehicles. You start as a trainee mechanic and gradually take on more tasks on your own.

What you'll do

• You carry out inspections and maintenance on buses and commercial vehicles, both combustion and electric
• You assist with electrical and engine work, mainly on diesel and electric motors
• You carry out work inside and outside the bus, such as repairing doors, cameras and electronic systems
• You disassemble and assemble parts and assist with overhaul work on diesel, petrol and electric engines

What we ask

• Experience or hands-on knowledge of automotive technology, for example from working on scooters, cars, mopeds or similar vehicles
• A willingness to learn and grow towards working independently as a mechanic
• Willingness to work in a newly opened workshop in Katwijk aan Zee
