About the job
You work as a trailer mechanic in Spijkenisse. You are responsible for maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and troubleshooting on various types of vehicles, both in the workshop and on the road.
What you'll do
- Carry out technical inspections on all types of trailers and trucks, properly and with care
- Perform APK (Dutch mandatory vehicle roadworthiness test) inspections and tachograph checks
- Do construction work, repair damage, and work on new vehicle build projects
- Install and remove large and small parts on all types of vehicles
- Maintain various types of trailers and trucks, covering mechanical, hydraulic, and engine systems
What we ask
- A completed MBO (Dutch vocational) degree in mechatronics, automotive, or mechanical engineering
- Category B driving licence
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Good command of Dutch, spoken and written
- Work experience is a plus
- An APK inspection licence is a plus
- Candidates without full experience (juniors) are also welcome
