Maintenance Mechanic - Day Shift - Food Industry

About the job

As a maintenance mechanic, you are a key part of the technical department. Your skills keep machines, installations, and production lines running smoothly. You work in a modern factory with advanced, automated systems for mixing, grinding, dosing, transporting, and packaging raw materials.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair work
• Diagnose and fix breakdowns quickly and effectively (around 70% mechanical, 30% electrotechnical)
• Analyse recurring problems and suggest lasting solutions
• Improve and optimise machines and technical processes
• Take part in installation upgrade projects
• Work closely with operators and other mechanics to prevent downtime

What we ask

• A completed technical secondary education (MBO, Dutch vocational qualification), for example in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Experience in mechanical work and control technology
• A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems independently
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• A calm head under pressure
• Willingness to be on call for emergencies when needed
