Breakdown Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

You help keep production running smoothly. You work with high-quality aircraft tyres that are used in aviation worldwide. You fix breakdowns quickly and you carry out preventive maintenance to stop problems before they start. You work closely with colleagues and other departments to keep the workplace safe and efficient.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical installations.
• Analyse breakdowns: find the cause, diagnose the problem, and fix it quickly.
• Repair machines and installations, with a focus on mechanical parts.
• Contribute to improvements and optimisation in the production process.
• Consult with colleagues and other departments to keep the workplace safe.

What we ask

• MBO level 2, 3 or 4 (Dutch vocational qualification) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Willing to work in a 2-shift or 3-shift schedule.
• Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to solving problems.
• You work well in a team and can also work independently.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,500 gross per month.
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• Full-time work: 38 to 40 hours per week.
