Road Lighting and Traffic Signal Installer

About the job

You work outside, installing and commissioning road lighting and traffic signal systems. Every day is different: lighting poles, traffic signals, cables and other technical installations along the road. You work with a team to make sure everything runs safely and reliably.

What you'll do

• Install cables and components for road lighting and traffic signal systems
• Carry out measurements and check that installations work correctly
• Help with connecting and commissioning technical systems
• Report faults and problems to your supervisor
• Work according to health and safety rules and respond to unsafe situations
• Suggest improvements and new solutions
• Work with other installers on different projects

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO 3 level (Dutch vocational qualification) in an electrical direction
• Experience in road lighting or traffic signals is a plus
• A practical mindset and willingness to do physical work
• You work carefully and take quality seriously
• Able to work in a team and understand technical instructions quickly
• Willing to work outside in all weather
• Safety is a priority for you
• Category C driving licence is a plus
