Fire and evacuation systems installer

About the job

As a fire and evacuation systems installer, you are responsible for maintaining, inspecting and optimising fire safety installations. You work independently at client locations and make sure all systems meet the required standards.

What you'll do

• Carrying out maintenance inspections on fire alarm and evacuation systems
• Troubleshooting faults and carrying out corrective repairs
• Testing and inspecting systems according to current guidelines
• Advising clients on how to use and operate their systems
• Recording completed work and writing maintenance reports
• Keeping technical documentation and work logs up to date
• Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to optimisation solutions
• Participating in emergency on-call duties after a proper onboarding period

What we ask

• MBO 2 level of thinking or education, preferably in a technical field
• Knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation systems
• IDB and/or ODB certificate is a plus
• Willingness to take on emergency on-call duties
• Category B driving licence
• Valid Verklaring van Betrouwbaarheid (certificate of conduct / reliability statement)
• Technical ability and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and focus on the client
