Installation Fitter

About the job

As an installation fitter, you are responsible for carrying out installations from the first section of pipe through to final inspection. You work on new-build projects and renovations. You have real say in how the work is done and room to act independently within a stable team.

What you'll do

• Laying pipework, fitting distribution units and ventilation systems, and installing heat pumps
• Making sure everything is technically correct and neatly finished
• Reviewing tasks before you start, checking the schedule, and making sure all materials and tools are available
• Testing and adjusting systems after installation, only signing off once everything works properly
• Suggesting ideas for improvements and more efficient ways of working
• Daily contact with colleagues, site managers, and clients, with clear communication at every stage

What we ask

• Experience in installation work, for example in new-build or renovation projects
• CO-vakmanschap certificate (a Dutch qualification for heating and cooling systems), or willingness to obtain it
• Category B driving licence
• Attention to detail, thinking ahead, and the ability to find practical solutions quickly
• Good communication with clients, colleagues, and others involved in the build

What we offer

• Salary from €2,500 to €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience
• Fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position if performance is good
• 32 to 40 hours per week
• 38 days off per year: 25 days annual leave plus 13 ATV days (scheduled time off as part of the Dutch collective working hours arrangement)
