Electrical Installation Technician

About the job

As an Electrical Installation Technician you make sure technical installations run properly. You work independently, fix faults, and help improve the reliability of different systems.

What you'll do

• Find and fix electrotechnical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Check installations for safety issues, wear, and technical faults.
• Perform repairs and technical modifications.
• Report ideas for improvements to prevent future faults.
• Document work carried out.
• Work with colleagues to solve technical problems.
• Follow health and safety regulations.

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch secondary vocational education) technical qualification, preferably level 3 or 4.
• Field of study: electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of electrical installations and fault-finding.
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certification for working in industrial environments), or willingness to obtain it.
• Independent and solution-focused way of working.
• Flexible about occasional evening and weekend work.
