About the job
You install electrical systems in public buildings: schools, hospitals, offices and government buildings. You work on renovation and modernisation projects, often in buildings that are still in use. You are responsible for the quality of your work, communication with the client and meeting deadlines.
What you'll do
- Install, maintain and modify electrical building systems
- Work on site independently or as part of a team
- Coordinate planning, materials and progress with the preparation team or site manager
- Discuss the scope of work and solutions with clients on site
- Complete work reports and work in a safe and organised way
What we ask
- MBO level 3 diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering or a comparable technical background
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an installation technician
- Knowledge of building installations and willingness to be available for emergency call-outs
- Category B driving licence and a valid VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working on construction and industrial sites)
- A reliable attitude, initiative and attention to quality and teamwork
What we offer
- Salary from €3,000 to €4,000 gross per month, depending on experience and expertise
- Work 32, 36 or 40 hours per week
- 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (ADV is a Dutch arrangement for reducing working hours, similar to time off in lieu)
