We are looking for a mechanical fitter for a client in Nijmegen. You work on the assembly, installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and industrial installations.
What you'll do
- Assembling and disassembling mechanical equipment and industrial installations
- Carrying out maintenance and service work on machines
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults
- Reading and interpreting technical documentation and drawings
- Working together with other technicians and fitters on site
- Following health and safety rules on the building site or in the plant
What we ask
- Technical education in mechanics, mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience in a similar role (minimum 1 to 2 years)
- Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
- VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for construction and industry) is a plus
- Category B driving licence
- Able to work independently and with attention to detail
