Senior Mechanical Installations Fitter

About the job

You work independently on the assembly of mechanical installations and at the same time you are responsible for organising the work in your team. The position is based in Arnhem. However, because the mechanical department is currently coordinated from the Heesch branch, you need to be willing to work on projects in the Heesch and Oss area as well.

What you'll do

• Assemble mechanical installations, on your own or together with (trainee) fitters
• Organise work on site
• Plan tasks in consultation with the project team and the client
• Maintain as-built drawings and other project documentation
• Monitor material stock
• Pass on knowledge and experience to less experienced fitters
• Work on different types of installations: sewage, chilled water, air conditioning and others
• Make independent decisions about the work you carry out

What we ask

• At least an MBO level 3 diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) in Werktuigbouwkunde (mechanical engineering / installations)
• At least 2 years of experience as a (senior) mechanical installations fitter
• VCA VOL certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for construction and technical work; VOL is the full version for supervisors)
• Category B driving licence
• Ability to work independently, good people skills and the ability to build relationships within a team
• Willingness to carry out projects in the Heesch and Oss region
• Candidates must live in the Netherlands and have the right to work there. Visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.
