Service Technician at Railway Stations

About the job

You work from a base in Apeldoorn, doing maintenance and repair work at NS railway stations and commercial buildings. You go to jobs on your own, well prepared. You make sure the surroundings are safe, clean and working properly for travellers and clients.

What you'll do

• Do small construction and repair jobs
• Replace tiles and fix damage
• Do carpentry, painting and assembly work
• Maintain installations, storage racks and fittings on site
• Find faults and fix them on your own
• Work from a service van with professional tools

What we ask

• Around 1 to 3 years of experience in a hands-on technical or construction role
• Technical skills, ability to work with tools and willingness to learn new tasks
• Category B driving licence and ability to travel to different locations on your own
• Precise, quality-focused way of working with attention to safety and results
• Initiative, reliability and a problem-solving attitude when working with others

What we offer

• €3,000 to €4,600 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• Service van and professional tools provided by the employer
• 25 holiday days and 15 ADV days (ADV: extra days off under the Dutch collective labour agreement, used to reduce working hours)
• Pension through BouwBPF (the pension fund for the Dutch construction sector)
• Practical support and opportunities to grow in service and maintenance
• Full time, 32 to 40 hours per week
