Renewable Energy Systems Installer

About the job

As a renewable energy systems installer, you are responsible for installing, maintaining and optimising various renewable energy systems. You work independently at customer locations in your region. You make sure every system runs safely and reliably.

What you'll do

• Install and maintain solar panels, electric vehicle chargers and home energy storage systems
• Fit inverters and modify electrical distribution boards
• Carry out electrical connection work
• Find and fix faults in installations
• Perform inspections according to current safety standards
• Complete projects independently in your region
• Advise customers on how to use their systems
• Take part in training and workshops to keep your knowledge up to date

What we ask

• At least a technical vocational qualification (vmbo level)
• Experience in electrical work
• Interest in renewable energy and new technologies
• Willingness to follow training and courses
• VCA-VOL certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working on construction and industrial sites; VOL is the full version for independent workers)
• Category B driving licence
• A customer-focused approach and attention to detail
• You live within about 30 kilometres of Rosmalen
