Refrigeration Engineer

About the job

We are looking for a service engineer to install, upgrade and maintain modern refrigeration and freezing units for business clients. You work in a small, close team in Utrecht. Teamwork and sharing knowledge matter here. Both people with and without experience can grow and move up.

What you'll do

• Install new refrigeration and freezing units at business clients.
• Upgrade and replace existing installations to current standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Give technical support and advice to clients during and after the work.
• Work with colleagues to finish projects on time and without problems.

What we ask

• MBO-level (Dutch vocational secondary education) thinking and working ability, preferably in a technical direction.
• Technical experience, or a willingness to learn.
• Category B driving licence, for client visits.
• A client-focused attitude and a practical approach to problems.
• Able to work in a team and on your own.

What we offer

• Salary from €3,500 to €4,500 gross per month.
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Full-time, 38 to 40 hours per week.
• Company car for commuting and client visits.
• 25 days of holiday, with the option to build up 10 extra days.
• Internal training and hands-on practice in the company's own training centre.
