Refrigeration Engineer

About the job

You work every day on refrigeration and freezer systems in supermarkets. You keep them running well and you take part in projects with eco-friendly refrigerants like CO₂. No two days are the same. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills are what matter here.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair complex refrigeration and freezer systems, including connected heating systems.
• Diagnose faults using modern data systems and find solutions quickly.
• Talk to customers about the state of the systems and give them technical support.
• Work on sustainability projects such as heat recovery systems and CO₂ installations.
• Work together with other engineers and planners to organise and complete the work smoothly.

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO level (Dutch secondary vocational education).
• Category B driving licence. A company van is provided.
• Ability to work on your own and know when to ask for help.
• Attention to detail and clear communication.
• Calm and professional under pressure.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,600 gross per month.
• Permanent contract.
• Full time, 32 to 40 hours per week.
• 25 days of holiday and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, paid once a year on top of your salary).
