Installation Fitter
About the job
You work as an installation fitter at different locations in the Rotterdam region. You install and service heating, ventilation, plumbing, and gas systems in homes, commercial buildings, and industrial sites.
What you'll do
- Install central heating boilers, radiators, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
- Lay and connect water, gas, sanitary, and drainage pipes
- Test, adjust, and maintain installations
- Find and fix faults
- Read technical drawings and work according to health and safety rules
What we ask
- Experience as an installation fitter (from 0 to 5+ years)
- Category B driving licence
- Good command of Dutch
Employment conditions
The hourly rate depends on your experience:
- 0-3 years of experience: €16.69 gross/hour
- 3-5 years of experience: €18.06 gross/hour
- More than 5 years of experience: €19.94 gross/hour
These amounts do not include supplements for overtime, shift work, or irregular hours.
Under the CAO (collective labour agreement) Metaal & Techniek, rates will increase by 3% from 1 October 2025. The total pay increase between April 2024 and February 2026 is around 13%.
With a full-time contract you get 13 ADV days per year. ADV days are extra paid days off, similar to time off in lieu, agreed in the collective labour agreement.
Training and professional courses are possible.
Employment contract only. Working as a self-employed contractor (zzp) is not possible.
