Electrical Installation Fitter

About the job

As an electrical installation fitter, you work on projects across the Netherlands. You install busbar systems and cable support systems in new and existing buildings. You work as a pair with a trainee fitter and regularly check in with the project fitter about progress.

What you'll do

• You assess the conditions at the client's site and decide the best way to carry out the work
• You install busbar systems and cable support systems according to technical drawings
• You carry out the project according to instructions and the agreed schedule
• You work together with a trainee fitter, divide tasks and help each other
• You discuss progress with the project fitter and agree on any changes as they come up

What we ask

• A minimum education and thinking level of vocational secondary school (mbo)
• A diploma in electrical engineering or documented experience in this field
• A category B driving licence and willingness to travel across the Netherlands
• At minimum a VCA I certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working on construction and industrial sites)
• Good communication skills, a client-focused attitude and willingness to work in a team
• A hands-on approach to work and attention to quality

What we offer

• Salary from €2,600 to €2,700 gross per month
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours
• Company car for work use
• 25 holiday days and 13 ATV days (ATV is reduced working hours compensation, common under Dutch CAO collective labour agreements)
• Opportunity to take part in courses and further training
