Fire Alarm Systems Installer

About the job

You work in Druten on fire alarm installations in commercial buildings. You lay, maintain and replace fire alarm systems that keep buildings safe. You work both on your own and as part of a team across different projects.

What you'll do

• Wire fire alarm systems and other installations
• Install evacuation systems and fit smoke detectors
• Programme fire alarm systems
• Troubleshoot and test systems
• Read technical drawings and commission installations
• Consult with designers and supervise external inspections
• Support with faults, breakdowns or small jobs when needed

What we ask

• Completed education in electrical engineering (minimum level 2)
• Product training in various brands and types of BMI/OAI installations
• Installatiedeskundige Brandmeld (IDB) certificate (fire alarm installation specialist)
• Onderhoudsdeskundige Brandmeld (ODB) certificate (fire alarm maintenance specialist)
• Good communication skills
• Category B driving licence
• Valid VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working on construction and industrial sites)
