Body Assembler - Trailer Production

About the job

As a body assembler, you take part in building custom-made trailers from start to finish. This is not standard series production. Every trailer is different and needs its own approach. You work from technical drawings and together with your team you make sure each vehicle is built to specification.

What you'll do

• Assemble internal and external trailer components based on technical drawings
• Install storage boxes, rear windows and other order-specific parts
• Carry out drilling and assembly work using various hand tools and machines
• Apply sealant, finish welds and make sure surfaces are neat
• Pour and finish floors
• Check dimensions and quality throughout the build process
• Discuss technical questions with colleagues and help each other solve problems
• Join the daily work planning meeting with the team

What we ask

• A vocational or technical qualification at VMBO or MBO level (technical or construction direction). VMBO and MBO are Dutch secondary and post-secondary vocational education levels
• Ability to read technical drawings, or willingness to learn
• Experience in assembly or other technical work
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Ability to work in a team

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary from €3,002 to €3,411
• Full time, 38 to 40 hours per week
• Fixed day shift
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position
