Aluminium Construction Fitter

About the job

As a field fitter, you travel to construction sites across the Netherlands every day. Together with your colleagues, you install aluminium products on location and make sure each project is finished carefully and to a high standard.

What you'll do

• Install aluminium flashings and rain thresholds
• Install wall cappings, claddings, and other aluminium structures
• Install custom-made parts directly on site
• Check dimensions and quality during installation
• Finish and hand over completed projects
• Coordinate with site managers and other people involved in the project
• Work according to current safety rules
• Keep your workplace tidy and safe
• The working day usually starts between 05:30 and 06:00, and you are typically back between 15:00 and 16:00, depending on the project location

What we ask

• Experience in construction, installation, or similar technical work is required
• A practical, hands-on way of working
• Comfortable using tools and installation materials
• Accurate and focused on quality
• Good team player with an eye for the customer
• Category B driving licence
• No problems working at height
• Good command of Dutch or English
