Machine Assembler

About the job

You assemble complete machines in Boxtel and start them up at customer sites around the world. You combine hands-on technical work with independence and regular trips abroad: from assembly and testing in the workshop to installation and sign-off at international customer sites.

What you'll do

• Mechanical and electrotechnical assembly of machines and systems
• Fitting components, connecting, adjusting, and quality checks
• Running tests, finding faults, and fixing problems
• Installing machines at international customer sites, commissioning, and final acceptance
• Suggesting improvements and contributing to planning and task execution
• Working on-site at customer locations a few times a year, usually for at least three weeks at a time
• Taking responsibility within the assembly team, steering the work when needed, and convincing colleagues and customers with clear technical solutions

What we ask

• MBO-level technical education (Dutch vocational qualification) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Three to five years of experience in machine building, assembly, or mechatronics
• Experience with mechanical and electrotechnical assembly, testing, and fault analysis
• Willingness to travel abroad several times a year and stay on-site for around three weeks
• Working carefully, listening to customers and colleagues, making decisions, and following through
• You must already live in the Netherlands and have the right to work here. No work permit, residence permit, or visa sponsorship is provided for this role.

What we offer

• Gross salary of €3,000 to €3,750 per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (extra days off as part of the CAO, the Dutch collective labour agreement for Metaal en Techniek)
• Allowances for working abroad and irregular hours, up to €600 gross per week
• Employment conditions under the CAO Metaal en Techniek (collective labour agreement)
• Personal development budget, opportunities to grow, and involvement in international projects for large clients
• Day shifts only, in an assembly team of around 15 people
