Mechanic – Food Industry – 5-Shift Work

About the job

You work in the technical department of a leading food producer. Together with your colleagues, you keep the machines in good technical condition. The machines, installations, equipment and systems are very varied.

What you'll do

• You make sure machines run well.
• You carry out preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• You suggest improvements to the machines or production processes.
• You log your work in the maintenance system.
• You support colleagues across different teams.

What we ask

We are looking for a mechanic with a strong sense of responsibility for safety, who works accurately and thinks analytically. We also ask:

• An MBO-3/4 diploma (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3 or 4) in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering.
• Experience as a maintenance mechanic, breakdown mechanic, all-round mechanic or technician in a technical environment.
• A good command of Dutch.
• Availability to work in a 5-shift rotation.

• Gross monthly salary from €3,800 to €5,000, including a 28% shift allowance for 5-shift work.
