Pipe Fitter

About the job

You work as a pipe fitter in the process, petrochemical or construction industry in the Netherlands. You assemble and connect pipe systems according to technical drawings and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Assemble and install pipework made of steel, copper or other materials
• Read and interpret technical and isometric drawings
• Cut, bend and fit pipes to the required dimensions
• Connect pipes by welding, threading, flanging or pressing
• Check connections for leaks and quality
• Work together with other trades on a construction site or in an industrial plant
• Follow health and safety rules and the procedures that apply on site

What we ask

• Experience as a pipe fitter, at least 1 to 2 years
• Ability to read technical and isometric drawings
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on industrial sites), preferred or required on many sites
• Knowledge of different pipe joining techniques
• Category B driving licence
• Willing to work on location or at industrial sites

What we offer

• Hourly rate from EUR 14.99 to EUR 23.50 gross, depending on experience and qualifications
• Employment on the basis of a contract
• Work in the Netherlands
