Steel construction fitter / welder – certificate 135-D

About the job

For a client in Obdam, we are looking for steel construction fitters and welders with a valid 135-D welding certificate. The work involves assembling and welding steel structures for industrial and construction projects.

What you'll do

• Assemble and weld steel structures using the MAG method (135)
• Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly diagrams
• Check weld quality according to the applicable standards
• Prepare steel parts for welding (cutting, grinding, marking)
• Work together with other fitters and the team leader on site or in the production hall
• Keep your workspace tidy and follow health and safety rules

What we ask

• A valid 135-D welding certificate
• Experience in welding and assembling steel structures
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good physical condition and willingness to work at height or outdoors
• Category B driving licence

What we offer

• Pay between EUR 15.50 and EUR 18.50 gross per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Temporary employment contract with the possibility of extension
• Full-time work
