Security Systems Installer

About the job

You install, maintain and repair security systems. You work with alarm systems, cameras and access control, making sure they work safely and reliably. You visit different clients at different locations, so no two days are the same. You also take part in a 24-hour emergency on-call rota, where you fix faults quickly when they come up.

What you'll do

• Install security systems: alarm systems, cameras and access control
• Maintain existing systems to keep them working at their best
• Fix faults and technical problems, on your own or with a colleague
• Program systems to match each client's specific requirements
• Talk to clients and advise them on how to use and maintain their systems

What we ask

• MBO level 2 diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering or a similar technical background
• Experience with installing and maintaining security systems is a plus
• You are client-focused and communicate well
• Willingness to obtain an MBV diploma (Dutch security industry certificate) during your employment
• Flexible and available for 24-hour emergency on-call shifts on a rotating schedule

What we offer

• Salary between €3,000 and €4,000 gross per month
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• Extra pay for on-call duties and work outside standard hours
• Opportunity to obtain your MBV diploma during employment
• Travel costs reimbursed depending on your situation
