Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technician

About the job

You keep the modern machinery running at our client's site. You combine knowledge of electrics, hydraulics, mechanics and pneumatics to fix breakdowns and carry out preventive maintenance. You work in a team of six, where working together and improving processes come first.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on various machines in an automated production environment.
• Respond quickly and effectively to first-line breakdowns to reduce downtime.
• Support improvements to production processes and help implement new solutions.
• Manage the technical parts store and keep it well organised.
• Take part in a technical on-call rota once every five weeks, outside regular working hours.

What we ask

• MBO level 3 or 4 diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) in a technical field.
• Experience in electrics, hydraulics and mechanics.
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
• Good problem-solving skills and a service-minded attitude.
• Available to work in shifted day shifts and on Saturdays.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,850 to €3,710 gross per month.
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Full-time position, 38 to 40 hours per week.
• 36 days off per year: 24 holiday days plus 12 ADV days (reduced working hours days, a common arrangement in Dutch CAO collective labour agreements).
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 net per kilometre.
• Annual bonus of 3.5% and a good pension scheme.
