Blinds and Roller Shutter Installer (Apprentice)

About the job

As an apprentice blinds and roller shutter installer, you install high-quality products at different client locations across the Netherlands. You work on projects for hospitals, healthcare institutions, high-tech companies and government organisations. You learn the trade alongside an experienced team and grow towards working independently.

What you'll do

• Install curtain rails, roller blinds, blackout systems and sun blinds at various client locations
• Work on different construction sites and project locations across the Netherlands
• Solve technical problems and make sure the finish looks good and works properly
• Take part in internal training and get mentoring to build your technical skills
• Work in a client-focused way and collaborate with the people who placed the order

What we ask

• Interest in technical work and physical work
• Motivation to learn a new trade
• A hands-on approach and attention to keeping your work tidy
• Focus on what the client needs
• Category B driving licence, or willingness to get one
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction sites), or willingness to get one (paid by the opdrachtgever, the client company)

What we offer

• Salary from €2,800 per 4 weeks, in line with the CAO Metaal & Techniek (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets pay and conditions)
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• Full time, 40 hours per week
