Crane and Vehicle Body Fitter

About the job

As a crane and vehicle body fitter, you do technical work where you can make full use of your experience. You work precisely and make sure that components and bodies are built correctly. This job is about hands-on work and attention to quality.

What you'll do

• Fitting trucks with truck-mounted cranes, hook-lift systems, and tipper installations
• Assembling and connecting hydraulic and electrical systems
• Working from technical drawings and diagrams
• Inspecting and testing installations
• Contributing to technical solutions and improvements
• Occasional light welding and fabrication work

What we ask

• MBO diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) at level 3 or 4, preferably in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics
• At least 2 years of work experience as a fitter, for example in vehicle body building, bodywork, mechanical engineering, hydraulics, agricultural machinery, or a similar technical setting
• Experience with fitting, assembling, and modifying cranes, loading and unloading systems, or other hydraulic vehicle bodies is a plus
• Experience connecting, testing, and commissioning hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently from technical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and assembly instructions
