Trainee Installer

About the job

As a trainee installer, you work on projects in the energy transition and future infrastructure. You learn on the job while following a fully paid training programme. You work with a team on gas, water, and district heating networks. This is a chance to grow into an independent, all-round installer.

What you'll do

• Locating: detecting cables and pipes by hand.
• Groundwork: digging, backfilling, and compacting trenches.
• Connecting: connecting standard network components under supervision.
• Installing: fitting (residential) connections under supervision.
• Development: gradually taking on more responsibility towards a fully independent role.

What we ask

• Interest in technical work and willingness to work outdoors.
• Willingness to follow training while working.
• Minimum VMBO diploma (Dutch pre-vocational secondary education).
• Category B driving licence.
• Living in the province of Overijssel or South-East Drenthe.
• Motivation to grow into an independent installer.

What we offer

• Starting salary from €2,422 to €3,100 gross per month.
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• 32 to 40 hours per week, depending on your preference.
• 25 holiday days and 13 ATV days (additional leave under the collective agreement) at full-time hours.
• Your own company van with safe, professional equipment.
• Fully paid training, and you also receive your normal pay on training days.
