Groundworker

About the job

A groundworker lays cables, pipes and drainage, and works on infrastructure projects in the GWW sector (road, water and groundwork construction). You work outside, alongside experienced colleagues, and you see the results of your work every day. The work is on various construction sites around Julianadorp, Monday to Friday on day shifts. Occasional Saturday work is possible.

What you'll do

• Dig and prepare trenches for cables and pipes
• Help with laying cables, pipes and drainage
• Carry out various groundwork tasks on construction sites
• Work with hand tools and small machines
• Keep the work site safe and tidy

What we ask

• Category B driving licence
• VCA certificate (a safety certification required on Dutch construction sites), or willingness to obtain one
• Comfortable working outside and doing physical work

• Pay from €14.99 to €18.11 gross per hour, depending on experience
