About the job
We are looking for production workers for a fish processing plant in Urk. This is stable, long-term work in a well-organised production environment with room to grow.
What you'll do
- Place raw materials on the production line and start the production process
- Carry out different steps on the production line
- Process fish by hand: trimming and portioning, which requires precision
- Check product quality before shipping
- Pack finished products into boxes and help stack pallets
- Keep your work area clean and follow hygiene rules
- Work in a temperature of around 7°C in the production hall
- After learning the basic tasks, you can train to become a machine operator
- Opportunities to move up depend on your results, reliability and motivation
What we ask
- Experience in fish or food production is welcome but not required, full training is provided
- Willing to work in a cool environment (around 7°C) and stand for longer periods
- Precise and committed to keeping product quality high
- Basic English (A1 level)
- Punctual, responsible and able to work in a team
- Motivated and satisfied when a job is done well
