Gardener

About the job

In this role you work on creating and maintaining gardens and green spaces. You work at different locations, so every day is different. As a trainee gardener, you learn the job step by step from experienced colleagues.

What you'll do

• Pruning plants and trees
• Planting plants
• Mowing grass
• Weeding
• Small paving jobs
• Keeping outdoor spaces tidy and in good condition
• Working in both private gardens and on larger projects for companies and municipalities

What we ask

• Interest in green spaces, or some experience as a gardener
• Category B driving licence (category BE is a plus, not required)
• Willing to do physical work outdoors
• Willing to learn and grow in the profession
• Able to work both independently and in a team
• Reliable, motivated and presentable

What we offer

• Pay from €14.58 to €17.00 gross per hour, or from €2,600 to €3,200 gross per month, depending on experience and commitment
• Choice between working in private gardens or on larger green projects
