Production Operator – 3-Shift Work

About the job

You work as an operator on production machines in a 3-shift rotation in Groningen. You play a key role in the daily production of profiles.

What you'll do

• You set up the Shimmer machine according to orders and product specifications
• You check settings, materials and specifications during production
• You monitor the production process and make adjustments when needed
• You check the quality and dimensions of the profiles being made
• You detect and fix minor faults and replace worn machine parts
• You record production data and any irregularities

Shift times (rotating 3 shifts)

• 05:00 – 13:00
• 13:00 – 21:00
• 21:00 – 05:00

What we ask

• You have a technical mindset or an interest in working with machines
• You speak Dutch and can read German
• You have a driving licence and your own car (required because of the shift hours)

What we offer

• Gross salary up to €3,456.40 per month, including a fixed shift allowance
• Full-time work, 40 hours per week
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory bonus paid once a year) and a profit-sharing scheme
• 25 days of holiday per year on a full-time contract
• Pension accrual from your first day
• Travel costs reimbursed for distances of 10 km or more one way
• Option to be paid weekly
• Possibility of a permanent contract if things go well
• In-house training and the opportunity to grow into a (assistant) team leader role
