Operator B

About the job

As Operator B, you take responsibility for an automated production line. You set up installations, monitor process parameters, and act when something is off. This role gives you a lot of independence and technical depth.

What you'll do

• Setting up, operating, and changing over production installations
• Monitoring the production process and checking process parameters
• Spotting deviations early and making corrections
• Independently analysing and fixing first-level faults
• Carrying out quality checks and line inspections according to current procedures
• Recording production data, inspection results, and faults correctly
• Supporting and coordinating colleagues on the production line
• Working with the technical and quality departments
• Taking part in efforts to reduce downtime and production losses
• Suggesting improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency

What we ask

• MBO-level (Dutch secondary vocational education) education or equivalent thinking level
• Technical background or process technology training, for example VAPRO A or B
• Experience as an operator in a production or process environment
• Technical knowledge of mechanics and basic electrical engineering
• Experience with machine changeovers and fault analysis
• Experience with process monitoring and quality checks
• Knowledge of health and safety rules, hygiene, and quality requirements
• Good communication skills
• Ability to hand over tasks and work together with colleagues on the line
• Willing to work in a 2- or 3-shift schedule
