CNC Operator / Press Brake Setter

About the job

You write programs for a CNC-controlled press brake based on technical drawings, and then produce the parts yourself. You work at a client company (opdrachtgever) that specialises in stainless steel and aluminium structures. They supply components and custom solutions to the machine, food, and packaging industries.

What you'll do

• Write programs for a CNC press brake based on technical drawings
• Produce parts on the press brake independently
• Bending, rolling, and punching
• Setting up and adjusting the right tools

What we ask

• MBO-level education or experience in metal and engineering (MBO is a Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a trade certificate)
• Ability to read 3D drawings
• Knowledge of standards and shape and position tolerances
• Good knowledge of materials
• Experience with Bystronic controls is a plus
• Independent and accurate way of working
