Beverage Filling and Packaging Operator

About the job

You work in the packaging department at one of the largest soft drink producers in the Netherlands, near Utrecht. As an operator, you keep the production lines running smoothly and report directly to the team leader.

What you'll do

• Operate production machines and equipment
• Monitor the quality of the products being made
• Carry out quality checks
• Take corrective action when needed
• Work with the team to keep the production lines running properly
• Share responsibility for the safety of people and installations
• Take an active part in improving processes and reducing costs

What we ask

• A completed vocational qualification (MBO level 3), preferably in a technical field
• Experience as an operator or in a technical production environment
• A VAPRO diploma (a Dutch vocational certificate for process operators) is a plus, but not required
• You work independently, carefully, and take ownership of the processes you are responsible for
• Willingness to work a 4-shift schedule, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts

What we offer

• Salary from €3,583 to €4,985 gross per month, including a 28% shift allowance, depending on experience and job grade
• 26 days of annual leave per year
• 23 ADV days (reduction-of-working-hours days) per year, built into the 4-shift schedule
• 8% holiday allowance (vakantiegeld: a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary, equal to 8% of your annual gross wage)
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre
