Printing Machine Operator

Packaging has to look good and meet strict quality standards. As a printing machine operator in Harlingen, you play an important part in that. You make sure the press is set up correctly, production runs smoothly, and the print meets the required specifications.

**What you'll do**

• Set up and operate printing presses for different production orders
• Monitor the production process and check that the machine is running correctly
• Check colours, print quality, and dimensions
• Adjust the machine when the print does not meet requirements
• Change materials and inks when a new production order starts
• Fix minor technical faults
• Record and check production and quality data
• Report ideas for improvement and help optimise the production process

**What we ask**

• At least 2 years of experience as an operator or working with production machinery
• A qualification or thinking level equivalent to MBO-4 (Dutch vocational education, level 4), preferably in a technical or process technology field
• A technical mindset and a precise way of working
• Attention to quality and safe working
• Willing to work in a 5-shift rotation
• Normal colour vision, no colour blindness
• Own transport to get to the workplace in Harlingen

Experience with printing presses is not required. Experience as an operator and technical knowledge are the foundation, and you will learn the rest on the job.

• Gross salary of €3,175 to €3,500 per month
