Paper Machine Operator

About the job

As an operator, you take part in making paper products. You work with modern machines and keep the production process running smoothly. The work is in a 3-shift system, in a team of about 30 people.

What you'll do

• Run the rewinding machine: converting large paper rolls into smaller ones according to specifications
• Check paper quality: inspecting for damage, defects and other irregularities
• Set up and run the cutting machine: cutting paper to size for specific customer orders
• Record production data: keeping accurate documentation and identifying machine faults
• Carry out basic maintenance: cleaning and lubricating machines and doing visual inspections

What we ask

• Willing to work in a 3-shift system
• Experience with paper processing or cutting machines is a plus
• Living within 40 km of Arnhem
• Good command of Dutch

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of €2,855 to €3,193, including annual bonus, excluding shift allowance
• One-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• 3-shift system, 36 to 38 hours per week
• Shift allowance of 18% on top of base salary
• 25 days of annual leave plus 12 extra ATV days (short-time working days) per year
