Mechanical Operator

About the job

As a mechanical operator, you run modern machines that produce metal parts. You work a two-shift schedule at an international manufacturing company in Veenendaal. The company makes technical products for customers around the world.

What you'll do

• Operate and set up machines according to specifications
• Check the quality of the parts you produce
• Record production data
• Fix small technical problems on your own
• Carry out basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks
• Work closely with other operators and the team leader
• Take part in improving production processes

What we ask

• MBO 4 level education (Dutch vocational qualification), preferably in a technical or metalworking field
• At least 2 years of experience as an operator in a production environment
• Ability to work with machines and think technically
• Accuracy, independence, and good problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work a two-shift schedule

What we offer

• Salary from €2,700 gross per month
• Temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position
• Full-time work, 38 to 40 hours per week
• Shift allowance in line with the CAO (Dutch collective labour agreement) for two-shift work
• Travel costs reimbursed per kilometre, or full reimbursement of public transport costs
