Mini Excavator Operator at Cemeteries

About the job

You work as a mini excavator operator at cemeteries across the province of Zuid-Holland. The work is hands-on and requires respect for the location and attention to detail.

What you'll do

• Digging new graves with a mini excavator
• Restoring grave plots and levelling the ground
• Helping with clearing old graves
• Carrying out small repairs and maintenance on machines
• Manual work in areas that need extra care
• Working with colleagues, cemetery managers and funeral directors

What we ask

• Experience as an excavator operator, preferably with a mini excavator
• Category B driving licence
• Category BE driving licence and a VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and industrial sites) are a plus
• A calm and respectful attitude at work
• Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a team and to be flexible
• Vocational or secondary education (vmbo, havo, mbo)
• Experience level: from beginner to senior
