Food Packaging Operator

**About the job**

You work as an operator in a food production environment in Franeker. You operate automated packaging lines and make sure high-quality food products are packaged safely and to the right quality standards.

You have a responsible role in the production process. You work with modern machines and earn up to €3,900 gross per month, including shift allowance.

As a Packaging Operator, you are responsible for keeping the packaging process running smoothly. You make sure the lines work at their best and that products are packaged on time, safely, and to the required quality standards.

**What you'll do**

• Operate, set up, and monitor automated packaging lines
• Start up, changeover, and adjust machines
• Monitor the production process and correct where needed
• Carry out quality checks and inspect packaging
• Detect and fix minor faults
• Keep production and quality records
• Take part in improving safety, quality, and efficiency

You work closely with other operators, the technical department, and other teams. This means you have an impact on the whole process and contribute directly to a good end product.

**What we ask**

We are looking for an operator who enjoys technical work, takes responsibility, and cares about quality.

You have

• MBO-3 level (Dutch secondary vocational education, level 3) education and skills, preferably in process technology, food technology, engineering, or a similar field
• Experience as an operator in the food industry or a production environment
• An interest in automated machines and packaging processes
• Technical thinking and the ability to analyse faults independently
• A precise, quality-focused way of working
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
