Packaging / Production Line Operator

About the job

As a packaging operator, you are responsible for the correct operation of a machine or packaging line. This is an independent role with real technical responsibility.

What you'll do

• Operate a packaging or production line
• Set machines to the correct parameters
• Carry out test runs of machines
• Complete production orders according to the schedule
• Start up installations and lines
• Adjust and correct machine settings during production
• Carry out process and quality checks
• Check that the line is running correctly
• Detect deviations and fix simple faults on your own
• Carry out manual packing work when needed
• Record production data
• Perform daily first-level maintenance
• Report technical faults to the technical department
• Flag opportunities for improvement in safety, quality and HSEQ
• Keep the line and workstation clean and safe

For more serious technical problems, you can count on support from experienced operators, your supervisor and the technical department.

What we ask

• Available for 40 hours per week
• Willing to work a 3-shift system
• Preferably at least 1 year of recent production experience
• Experience with packaging machines or production lines is a strong advantage
• Able to set and adjust machines
• Able to detect deviations and solve simple problems on your own
• Experience in food production is an advantage
• Dutch or fluent English
• Own transport recommended due to the location
• Work in line with hygiene and safety rules

What we offer

• Basic gross salary from €2,600 to €2,800 per month
• Shift allowance of 25% for hours between 18:00 and 00:00
• Shift allowance of 50% for hours between 00:00 and 06:00
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 25 vacation days with the option to buy extra days
• Sick leave bonus of €150 per quarter (conditions apply)
