Process Operator – Food Production – 5-Shift System

About the job

As a process operator, you and your shift team are responsible for a stable and safe production process. You work both from the control room and directly at the installations. You monitor processes and make adjustments when needed. You use your technical knowledge to keep the installations running well and to make sure products meet quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate an automated production process with multiple process stages
• Control installations using DCS/SCADA systems
• Carry out inspection rounds and monitor process parameters
• Respond to deviations and make the necessary corrections
• Take samples and carry out quality measurements
• Record process data carefully
• Analyse the cause of malfunctions and work with the technical department to solve them
• Take an active part in improvement projects in the areas of safety, quality and efficiency

What we ask

• A completed vocational qualification (mbo 3 or mbo 4, Dutch secondary vocational education levels) in food technology, VAPRO, AOT or a related field
• Experience as a process operator in the process industry or food industry
• Interest in automated production processes
• Experience with DCS and/or SCADA systems is a plus
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift system
• You think independently about process improvements and you work safely and accurately

What we offer

• Gross salary of €3,750 to €4,500 per month, including shift allowance
• Shift allowance of 30.8%
• Year-end payment of 4%
• 22 days of annual leave
• Average working week of 33 hours in the 5-shift system
