Production Operator – 3-shift

Salary: €3,654 – €4,850.07 per month

## About the job

As an Operator in this high-tech environment, you work with casting machines and furnaces to produce thermoplastic semi-finished products. You play a key role in quality control and keeping the production process running.

You make sure the process runs safely, stably and efficiently. You have a lot of independence and responsibility. Your technical skill makes a real difference here.

## What you'll do

• Set up and operate casting machines correctly
• Deliver products that meet quality requirements and customer specifications
• Make sure products are made on time and within the planned process
• Work according to the production schedule (M3)
• Prepare casting moulds and check or replace seals
• Set up machines based on the configuration sheet
• Cast nylon carefully and with minimal waste
• Cool produced materials and anneal them when needed
• Carry out quality checks using visual inspection and reaction tests
• Record process data, hours and faults in the Movex (M3) system
• Analyse faults and fix them, on your own or with others
• Follow health and safety, environmental and technical rules
• Take part in internal training to get to know the process well
• Build and configure production equipment for a stable start
• Set up and operate casting installations (a unique process in the Netherlands)
• Record process data in the ERP system and other systems
• Monitor the process from start to finish
• Carry out first-level maintenance
• Unload products carefully
• Keep your workspace clean and tidy

## What we ask

• Thinking and working level of mbo-3 (Dutch vocational education, level 3), preferably with a diploma in process technology. A level-2 diploma is also considered.
• Experience in a production or process environment
• Technical understanding and ability to work independently
• Willing to work in a 3-shift system (with a 21.8% shift allowance)
• Accurate and quality-focused
• Safety, environment and quality aware
• Willing to complete internal training
