Production Operator

About the job

You work in a modern, automated production environment. You operate machines, monitor production processes, and carry out light maintenance tasks. Together with your team, you produce high-quality mushroom growing substrates. Work is in a three-shift rotation, with a strong focus on quality, hygiene, and food safety.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and monitor automated machines and production equipment
• Monitor the production process and identify deviations or technical issues
• Carry out light maintenance and clean machines according to hygiene standards
• Work closely with colleagues and the senior operator to keep production running well
• Record production data and report irregularities to your supervisor

Shift times

• Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:30
• Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:30
• Night shift: 22:00 - 06:30

What we ask

• MBO 3 (Dutch intermediate vocational education, level 3) diploma or equivalent thinking level, preferably in a technical direction
• Good physical fitness and willingness to do physical work
• Good command of English
• Full availability for three-shift work
• Accurate, responsible, and focused approach to your work

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary from €2,560 to €3,316, including shift allowance and annual bonus (based on a 40-hour work week)
• Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment after a positive evaluation
• Full-time, 38-40 hours per week in a three-shift system
• Shift allowance of 22.25% on top of base salary
• 25 vacation days plus around 13 additional paid ADV days (scheduled days off as part of a shorter working week arrangement) per year
• 8% vacation pay (vakantiegeld, a statutory annual holiday bonus under Dutch law) in line with the Dutch CAO (collective labour agreement)
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre, up to 25 km one way, for each day worked
• Overtime pay: 150% on working days, 200% on weekends, 300% on public holidays
• Choice between weekly or four-weekly pay
