Production Operator

About the job

As an operator, you make sure the production line runs safely, efficiently and without interruptions. You start with an extended on-the-job training programme. An experienced mentor guides and supports you throughout. You get to know the machines and build a solid understanding of the whole production process. The workplace is easy to reach from both Nijmegen and Oss.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor and adjust advanced production lines
• Check product quality, safety and production progress
• Detect, analyse and fix disruptions in the production process
• Carry out minor maintenance work and simple repairs
• Work closely with maintenance technicians to solve technical problems
• Follow health and safety rules and current procedures
• Actively suggest ideas to improve the production process
• Onboard and support new employees
• Keep the workplace safe, clean and well organised

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO 3 level or higher
• Good enough English to understand safety instructions
• Willingness to work a 5-shift rotation
• Own accommodation and own transport
• Technical knowledge and proven technical skills
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
• A strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
• Ability to work well both on your own and in a team

What we offer

• Gross salary of €4,000 to €5,000 per month, including a 27.50% shift allowance and an ADV allowance (extra days off in lieu of overtime, common in Dutch CAO agreements)
• 25 days of annual leave and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary)
