Reach truck operator

About the job

You work as a reach truck operator in the Sligro warehouse in Amsterdam. Sligro is one of the largest wholesale suppliers for the catering industry in the Netherlands. Your workday is varied, so the time goes fast.

What you'll do

• Replenish stock and place goods in the right location using a reach truck
• Stack pallets accurately on the racks
• Check products for expiry dates
• Remove empty pallets
• Occasional work in the cold storage area (+5 degrees Celsius)

What we ask

• At least 1 year of experience as a reach truck operator
• Good physical condition
• English language skills (a plus)
• Driving licence (a plus, not required)
• Own accommodation (a plus, not required)

What we offer

• Hourly rate: EUR 15.58 gross (age 21 and over), EUR 14.19 (age 20), EUR 12.82 (age 19), EUR 11.47 (age 18)
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, paid on top of your wage)
• Supplements for night and weekend hours: 25% (Mon-Fri 04:00-06:00 and 19:00-22:00), 50% (Mon-Fri 00:00-04:00 and 22:00-24:00, Sat 00:00-12:00), 100% (Sat 12:00-24:00, Sundays and public holidays)
• A buddy who will show you the ropes
