About the job

An SPMT Operator moves heavy loads safely and precisely using Self Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMT), which are large, self-driving multi-axle vehicles used to transport oversized structures. You work on special transport projects across different industries. The client is a leading Dutch company that designs and builds large, complex steel structures for the offshore industry, including oil, gas and wind energy. The company has more than forty years of experience and works on projects worldwide.

What you'll do

• Carry out transport work with SPMT safely
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Assemble and disassemble equipment
• Move heavy loads according to project requirements
• Work on a variety of projects across different industries

What we ask

• A completed technical or logistics education
• Proven spatial awareness
• Basic English, spoken and written
• VCA basic certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate required for working on industrial sites)
• Own transport (the location is not reachable by public transport)
• Experience in civil engineering, construction, energy, oil and gas, offshore or ports is a plus
• Safety awareness and a sense of responsibility
• Technical ability
• Flexible attitude to work
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Stays calm under pressure and focuses on solutions
• Accurate and practical

What we offer

• Salary from €2,599 to €4,128 gross per month, depending on experience
• 12.5% annual bonus
• 40 paid holiday days based on full-time hours
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a mandatory annual payment on top of your salary)
