Part-time work picking orders with flowers and plants. You work in the morning and usually finish early in the afternoon. A good option for students, parents or anyone looking for extra income.
You work at the opdrachtgever (the client company) in Aalsmeer, the largest flower auction in the world. Every day it connects growers and buyers from around the world.
What you'll do
- Pick orders using a scanner or voice-pick system
- Sort flowers and plants by customer and delivery location
- Check the quantity and quality of products
- Drive an electric tractor
- Prepare orders for shipment
- Work with the team to meet deadlines
Working hours
- Number of hours to be agreed
- Monday to Friday
- Start at around 06:00
- Work in the morning and early afternoon
- Weekends off
What we ask
- At least 18 years old
- Available from 06:00
- Available at least 3 days a week
- Accurate and responsible in your work
- Willing to do physical work
- Dutch or English language skills
- Own transport to the location in Aalsmeer
What we offer
- Gross hourly rate €16.60
- Weekly pay
- Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance) of 8.33%
- Pension accrual from your first day
- Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre
- With good performance, a chance of a permanent contract with the client
