About the job
We are looking for an experienced paver to work in the Stadskanaal area. You will lay road and pavement surfaces on outdoor job sites.
What you'll do
- Laying paving stones, slabs and kerbs
- Preparing the base for surfaces (grading and compacting)
- Doing manual excavation work and levelling
- Reading technical drawings and working to the project plan
- Working together with machine operators and other workers on site
- Keeping your work area tidy and safe
What we ask
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a paver
- Knowledge of different paving techniques
- Ability to work with a spirit level and other measuring tools
- Category B driving licence
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction and industrial work) is a plus
- Willingness to do physical outdoor work in different weather conditions
What we offer
- Pay from 16.50 to 20.50 euro gross per hour, depending on experience
